Aerospace Turbine Services & Solutions LLC (TS&S Aerospace), a specialized and leading maintenance, repair and overhaul provider for aircraft engines in the Middle East, is welcoming key players in the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry to its home in Abu Dhabi as the host sponsor of the Airline Engineering & Maintenance: Middle East 2017 conference.

The conference, which will be held on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, between 11-12 April, has been providing a platform for key stakeholders in the aviation aftermarket to network, explore the landscape, and discuss emerging opportunities in the Middle East for more than 20 years. In 2017, more than 150 international experts are due to gather at the event to discuss key challenges and opportunities for MROs in the region.

Several members of the TS&S Aerospace team will be participating at the conference, including Ian Taylor, Vice President of Sales, who will deliver the keynote speech; Steven Taylor, Global Sales Manager, who will be part of a panel discussing the Middle East’s place in the global MRO industry; and Issam Al Farhan, Global Sales Manager, Sales and Commercial, who will speak on a panel about the relationship between airlines and suppliers.

Conference attendees will also be given a chance to tour the state-of-the-art, 5,000 m² TS&S Aerospace facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport, where they will see the dedicated 100,000- lb thrust-capable test cell and cutting edge equipment capable of five-axis machining, laser beam welding, plasma screening, nondestructive testing and mechanical cleaning.

TS&S Aerospace is currently the only independent Trent 700 MRO facility worldwide, and recently announced that it had reached a business milestone via the induction of its 100^th V2500 engine. For GE, TS&S Aerospace has emerged as one of only four GE Aviation licensed repair stations worldwide, and the only one currently based in the Middle East and North Africa region. Earlier this year, the company announced it had successfully performed services across more than 20 GEnx engines for various global airlines.
