As the General Manager of the Sanad MRO division, Baha is a highly valued member of the executive team and plays a pivotal role in charting the company’s strategic direction and overseeing the operations of the MRO division. He is also responsible for overseeing the Group’s Sales, Marketing, and product portfolio growth.

Before joining Sanad, Baha held several technical, commercial, and operational positions in gas turbine repair and overhaul projects. He began his career by setting up repair shops for Pratt & Whitney PT6 and RR Adour engines in the UAE, and later worked at Rolls-Royce Canada, where he held various technical positions and rose to the position of Director of Quality Control.

As a manager in the industrial business at Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO), Baha helped establish the Rolls-Royce Avon repair and overhaul facility, thereby creating an industrial gas turbine repair and overhaul business in the UAE that included a joint venture with GE Power & Water (Heavy Industrial Turbines); a strategic alliance with Siemens (Industrial Trent Engine) which later culminated in being a 10-year contract, component repair joint venture with Liburdi engineering (Aero-Derivatives); and the establishment of Turbine Services & Solution in 2010 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala Development Company.

Baha holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Air Service Training, Perth, Scotland and has been licensed by the UK Civil Aviation Authority as an A&C-licensed Aircraft Engineer since 1981.
